Matthew is an alignment-based movement therapist. He approaches clients with a holistic integration of connective and soft tissue techniques. Matthew works together with the client to unravel irregular patterns in hopes of restoring your body’s natural and evolving alignment.
In his late 20’s, Matthew discovered a passion for exercise, movement, weightlifting, and fitness, and began training in the gym which quickly turned into training friends and family. This led him to being a Student Athletic Trainer for two years, where he traveled with sports teams and was responsible for treating acute and chronic injuries. His passion for anatomy, physiology, movement, and alignment were the motivation to embark on this career. Today he continues pursuing his infinite quest for knowledge to improve and evolve his trade, body, and mind.
Matthew was an athlete his entire childhood playing multiple sports a year including soccer, basketball, baseball, and continued to play soccer through high school. He snowboards, snowshoes, and recently learned downhill skiing. He enjoys testing the limits of his physical body, but his favorite place is on top of mountains and exploring nature. In his spare time Matthew enjoys traveling, rock hounding, making art (sculptures, music, jewelry, photography), acting and theater, cooking and entertaining, and meditation and yoga.
